Shea Leigh Mills x The Tidy Home Nashville Collab
Closet of blogger Shea Leigh Mills.

Closet of blogger Shea Leigh Mills.

You guys…we are SO excited to share our collab with blogger, Miss Shea Leigh Mills!! This collab was A.LONG.TIME coming, we started working with Shea on her closet in January! January folks!! But due to the tornado that came through Nashville in early March and then Covid, we were just able to tie up some loose ends and share this AMAZING project!

Shea contacted us about collaborating on a space in her home + we were so excited to meet her and see her space! If you don’t already, check out her blog at www.dailyshealeigh.com and follow her on Instagram- @shealeighmills. It was a pretty easy choice to work on her closet, because she has the cutest clothes + accessories!

We decided to do a complete overhaul of her main bedroom closet, to create a space that reflected her!

Beautiful + cheery!!

These next photos show the progression of the closet:

We had custom shelving added to the space, as well as giving her double rods on both sides of the closet to give her plenty of space. We also really wanted to dress up the pretty window in the closet because nothing beats natural light in a gorgeous closet!

Here are some more before + afters of Shea’s closet:

Our 5 Must-Haves for any Kid Play Space!

Today we are sharing the items we have fallen in LOVE with that we use time and time again in the kid play spaces we organize! Plus they are ALL from Target and Amazon!!

1. mDesign Plastic Toy Box Storage Organizer Tote Bin with Handles

We absolutely LOVE these bins from mDesign for toy storage! They are a great size and the handles make them perfect for little hands to grab! We can not suggest enough to use clear bins for toy storage so kiddos can see exactly what they have in each bin. Add a label to each one for older kids and adults to also know what toys belong in each container! This 8-pack is an amazing price at $39.99!!!

2. Melissa & Doug Wire Puzzle Storage Rack

Do you struggle with puzzle storage? How to store the pieces and the boards? In a way that your kiddos will pull them out and play!?! These puzzle racks are a PERFECT solution! Kids can see each puzzle and easily get to them too! Plus the pieces can stay in each correlating board, hopefully cutting down on lost pieces…hopefully. At $12.49 they are a steal and they come in different sizes!

3. Whitmor Deluxe Adjustable Garment Rack

We have used this garment rack MANY times, it is SO useful for dress up storage! Because it is adjustable, you can bring it down to your kiddo’s level! And the rack on the bottom is a perfect spot for a basket to hold all of the crowns, shoes, masks, and swords!!
